Instant Visas

The Instant Work Visa Issuance Service is a key digital feature available through the Qiwa platform operated by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, targeting private sector businesses. This service enables compliant enterprises meeting Saudiization quotas and requirements to instantly issue work visas for non-Saudi professionals without delays, additional paperwork, or physical labor office visits.

Employers start by logging into their Qiwa business account, navigating to services, and selecting “Instant Work Visa Issuance.” Eligibility requires a valid commercial registration, active work permits, no labor or insurance violations, and sufficient visa quota based on sectoral Saudiization rates. Visa fees are typically SAR 2,000 per visa, paid via official government channels.

After choosing the visa type and entering required details (nationality, religion, port of entry, quantity needed), employers submit and electronically review the request. Upon approval, instant visa documents are generated for use in hiring workers from abroad. The process is fully digital, ensuring near real-time issuance given established eligibility.

The service allows businesses to track all issued visas, manage workforce records, and generate compliance and quota reports. It sharply accelerates private sector hiring, strengthens access to skilled labor, reduces administrative overhead, and increases transparency for both employers and employees.
