Mandatory Conditions

  • The existence of an active commercial registration or freelance practitioner certificate.
  • The bank account must be linked to the applicant’s commercial registration or freelance practitioner certificate.
  • The store’s URL must be valid and not impersonated; it must not be a social media link (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok), which may only be added as communication channels or supplementary links.
  • The merchant/ practitioner must commit to owning the domain name and take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the information provided about it, provided that the domain ownership belongs to the applicant or the platform granting the subdomain, and that it is not previously registered to another entity.
  • The merchant/ practitioner must ensure that all products or services offered in the online store comply with regulations and are included within the activities authorized in the commercial registration or freelance practitioner certificate.
  • The merchant/ practitioner must ensure that all products or services offered in the online store comply with regulations, align with the activities authorized in the freelance practitioner certificate, and are included in the list of activities registered in the commercial registration.
  • The store’s activities must be under an entity committed to governance, oversight, and the receipt and handling of complaints.
  • The existence of a valid and accredited trademark registration certificate if the trademark is registered with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property.
  • In the absence of a registered trademark, the merchant/ practitioner must commit not to infringe on any previously registered trademark of another entity and bear full responsibility for any violations under the Intellectual Property Protection Law. The online store must comply with the following basic requirements: Register the online store on the Saudi Business Center platform. Display the commercial registration number and all required licenses clearly on the store’s main page. The existence of clear policies for consumer data protection and privacy, as well as policies for exchange, return, and refund, along with clarification of shipping and delivery procedures. The existence of a clear and accessible means of communication for customers.
