The Fellowship Exam Application service is an electronic platform provided by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants for candidates aiming to attain the prestigious Fellowship certification. This certification is regarded as the highest professional qualification within SOCPA, authorizing holders to legally practice accounting and auditing in Saudi Arabia. It validates an accountant’s theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or related administrative disciplines with accredited accounting hours, meeting SOCPA’s educational requirements.

The application process involves filling an electronic form on SOCPA’s e-services portal, attaching valid identification, academic transcripts, and degree certificates. Applications are reviewed within ten days, with candidates selecting exam dates and centers from eleven designated cities. The exam covers core subjects including accounting, auditing, zakat & tax, business laws, business environment, and jurisprudence. Candidates must pass each subject with a minimum score of 60%, with opportunities for retakes provided. Graduates receive a Fellowship certificate enabling professional practice and sector development participation.

Mandatory Conditions

  • The registration fee for the test is 1000 (one thousand riyals) for the first time and 500 (five hundred riyals) for repeating the test, in addition to an entry fee for each subject of 300 (three hundred riyals).
  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting.
  • A university degree or any higher qualification in one of the administrative sciences specializations or its branches, provided that the test taker has completed (twenty-one) hours in accounting or its branches*, or what the Authority considers equivalent to it.
