The Application for the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) exam is an online service provided by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants that enables accounting professionals and specialists in fraud detection to apply for a widely recognized certification. The exam evaluates proficiency in theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to financial fraud examination, investigation techniques, and compliance within public and private sectors.
Applicants register via SOCPA’s electronic platform, providing personal data, academic credentials, work experience, and required documentation such as ID, degree certificates, and photos. Exam sessions are available in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and last 150 minutes with 100 multiple-choice questions. Passing requires a minimum score of 75%. Retakes are allowed with an additional fee. Saudi candidates may benefit from financial support via the Human Resources Development Fund ('Hadaf') professional training programs.
