Request to Apply for the Accounting Technician Exam
The Application for the Accounting Technician Exam service is an electronic platform provided by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants allowing qualified individuals holding diplomas or bachelor's degrees in accounting or related fields to register for an official certification exam. The exam assesses theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for daily accounting functions, such as bookkeeping, invoice processing, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting, targeting especially small and medium enterprise sectors.
Applicants create personal accounts on the SOCPA portal, complete application forms with personal and qualification details, submit required documents like certificates and IDs, select exam dates and locations, and pay fees (SAR 1,200 for first attempts, SAR 500 for retakes). Financial support is available for Saudi nationals through the Human Resources Development Fund ('Hadaf').
