Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA)

Affiliate Membership (Professional Registration)

The Associate Membership service (Professional Registration) is a key electronic service offered by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), aiming to enable individuals interested in formally affiliating with the profession under structured guidelines without necessarily holding full CPA accreditation. This membership includes accountants holding academic or professional qualifications in accounting and finance who seek to formally document their professional presence within an officially recognized entity, allowing benefits from SOCPA’s accredited programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.

The service allows members to register via an advanced digital platform by filling out the membership form and uploading required documents such as academic or professional certificates, a national ID or residency permit, a personal photo, and a declaration form. Applicants select the 'associate membership' type and complete necessary fields to finalize registration.

Membership requirements accept bachelor’s or diploma holders in accounting, with provisions for lower certificates subject to fulfillment of specific training and qualification programs. An annual membership fee of 500 SAR and a one-time verification fee of 500 SAR applies to foreign certificate holders. Applications are reviewed and approved by SOCPA within five business days, upon compliance with all criteria.

This membership offers multiple benefits including professional training access, educational seminars, ongoing technical support, career advancement opportunities locally and internationally, and maintenance of an electronic profile ensuring recognized legal and professional status.
