Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA)

Quality Control Program

The Annual Data Program service is a fundamental initiative offered by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants, aiming at ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial and professional information submitted by accounting and auditing firms. It forms part of the organization’s continuous efforts to enhance professional performance quality and monitor adherence of accounting firms to regulatory standards, thereby fostering professionalism in Saudi financial services.

Under this program, firms are required to submit annual reports and detailed financial and administrative data according to the council’s approved templates, including general firm information, details of active professional members and technicians, as well as summaries of client engagement, working hours, and services rendered during the fiscal year. Data submission is done electronically via a dedicated online system within four months following the end of the reporting fiscal period.

The program enables the council to analyze and audit these data, ensuring quality control and enabling appropriate interventions in case of non-compliance or deficiencies. It helps maintain a comprehensive database that supports research and strategic planning to advance the accounting profession.
The service includes periodic reviews and continuous quality assessments, offering various reporting templates aligned with the council’s requirements to ensure data transparency and professional standards adherence worldwide.
